Guruji San Jose is a weekly gathering rooted in devotion, music, and community, welcoming visitors from San Jose and across the South Bay and greater Bay Area. We come together not as an institution with a fixed doctrine, but as a sangat, a community of people practicing presence, service, and shared reflection.
Each Thursday evening follows the same simple rhythm: prayer and music, Langar (a shared meal held in silence), and a closing round of story-sharing. There's no expectation to have attended before, to belong to any particular tradition, or to participate beyond what feels comfortable.
If you're new, we'd simply encourage you to come, sit, and listen; everything else will make sense once you're here.
